The Challenge and My Role

Challenge

Employees lacked transparent development and advancement paths, while leaders needed a consistent way to define role expectations, evaluate demonstrated skills, and make readiness and promotion decisions.

Unclear pathways • Inconsistent criteria • Limited development visibility • Manager enablement

My Role

I served as project manager and L&D lead, partnering with the HRBP to translate career pathways into a structured development and advancement program. I led the assessment, learning, and implementation workstreams; coordinated SMEs and trainers; managed stakeholder reviews and approvals; and guided each group through pilot and rollout.

Project management • Cross-functional leadership • SME coordination • Stakeholder alignment

My Approach

A structured path from unclear advancement expectations to transparent, manager-supported career progression.

01 Diagnose
I translated stakeholder and performance insights into defined development needs, assessment requirements, and program priorities.

02 Align
I partnered with the HRBP, leaders, and subject-matter experts to define competencies, proficiency levels, skill expectations, and readiness criteria for career progression.

03 Design
I led the development of assessments, learning pathways, and development resources to help employees build and demonstrate proficiency for advancement.

04 Activate
I project managed the rollout across multiple groups, coordinating SMEs, trainers, assessments, approvals, stakeholder review meetings, dependencies, and launch activities.

05 Measure & Evolve
I evaluated assessment results, participation, operational data, and stakeholder feedback to refine the program after pilot and formalize the approach for ongoing use.
